Gwen Dudley- Instructor, Choreographer
Corey has been dancing since the age of five, and spent a majority of her childhood dancing with Paula Meola’s Dance and Performing Arts Inc based out of Sterling, MA. Competing since the age of 8, attending competitions across the east coast, as well as competing nationally, gave her a great sense of performance and an appreciation for the art of dance.
Corey furthered her education by attending the dance program at Dean College in Franklin, MA. Having opportunities to train under instructors such as Jill Silverman, Jean Wenzel, Kelly Peters and Joan Pallodino among many others. She really matured as a dancer and choreographer at Dean, where she co-created the first hip hop crew, and also choreographing many routines for student showcases. After Dean she moved on to start teaching at studios throughout the North East, and has been educating for over ten years. Choreographing for competitive level groups, in which her routines would receive top overall scores as well as special awards.
Corey has also attended many conventions and summit teacher functions to always stay fresh and inspired with choreography and to continue learning- which never stops! Training with well known choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Rhapsody James, Thelma Goldberg, Marty Kudelka, Rhee Gold and Mandy Moore. She has experience with all genres of dance, however specializes in Tap and Hip Hop.
Her style focuses a a lot on syncopation of rhythms in tap, with a more hoofing style. She enjoys instructing all ages of dancers and it is impossible for her to choose her favorite discipline, she loves it all! She truly loves what she does, and feels so thankful to be able to live out her passion on a daily basis, and to be able to share it with others.
